Ren is a Scotland-based creative who is currently studying their MSc in Technical Art and VFX at Abertay University, after graduating with a 2:1 in Computer Arts in 2024, specialising in Screenwriting, Video Editing and Production.

They are currently doing a mentorship in Narrative Writing and Screenwriting via Limit Break. In 2024, Ren went on to win NEoN Digital Art's Award for Representation for a short TV series, Nightfell.

Studying toward my Master's with Abertay, diving more into the technical side of games to improve my understanding of the fuller pipeline for production.
I gained a foundation across 2D and 3D art pipelines, before specialising in Production and Screenwriting whilst on the 2D track in my 3rd and 4th year of studying.
During my time at D&A, I graduated during the pandemic, specialising in 2D and graphic design.

Mewdy Miso won the award for Best Itch Page, after being judged by the GJL professionals panel for the Game Jam Parade Spring Jam 2025.
For my 4th year honours project whilst at Abertay University. Nightfell, an LGBTQ+ screenplay, was awarded for diversity and representation.
During my 1st year of studying, I worked with the team behind Forest Tails as the game trailer creator.
